I have a Bachelor's Degree from CSUF in Sociology, MA in Education and hold a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I've been teaching for 16 years and have enjoyed all the grades at which I've had the pleasure to teach. Those grades ranging from K to Seniors in High School. I taught at St. Madeleine in Pomona for 6 years (K and 2nd grade) and I taught at St. Anthony High School in Long Beach for 5 years (freshman, sophomore and Senior Religion, as well as Campus Ministry).
I chose to take a break from teaching for 2 years to be at home with my two girls, Rose 9 and Sierra 6. I have been happily married for 11 years to my husband that is also a teacher.
After having taken those 2 years off, God has called me back to be in the classroom and I'm excited to be part of your child's journey in their world of education and spirituality.
Teaching Philosophy
My teaching mission is for my students to become well-rounded individuals that build a sense of community in our classroom and school. Students will learn how to apply what we learn both academically and spiritually to every day life. We also want to create a learning environment that not only, fosters a love of learning, but provides a fun and friendly atmosphere where we are comfortable.
