What fundraisers do I have the opportunity to participate in?
We have several FUNdraisers held throughout the year. Each one has a certain amount of required participation by our families. You can also choose to buy out, but why do that we you can be a part of the community and have some FUN while supporting our school?
Who is invited?
We welcome all SJS family members to join our small events and mid-year fundraisers but for the Golf Tournament and Spring fundraiser, adults 21 years of age and over are suggested. However, the dinner for the SJS Golf Classic, all family members can join. Supporters are always welcome and all parishoners (and public) are definitely able to attend and join.
Do I have to buy tickets?
Depends on the fundraiser! Tickets are typically announced with weblinks in SJS Newsletter and on social media. Tickets are also available in the front office. For specific information or multiple ticket purchases, coordinate directly with the event chairperson or committee member.
Why should I support the donation drives?
Because we all love St. Joseph School and we want the school to continue to thrive while keeping tuition and fees as low as possible. The ticket prices and mandatory tickets (fundraising commitment) just covers putting on a great event. Your ability to help us gather donation items ensures that we have some great stuff to auction off and ensure we meet our budget goals for the event. Families of SJS do not have to be the one's to pay for auction items. Please use our donation forms to go out and get items donated from the community at large. The donation form acts as a receipt for tax deductions.
What do I get if I donate items or make a cash sponsorship to the event?
Please see our donation form for recognition opportunities for cash sponsorship. All donations are tax deductible and you get the peace of mind knowing that you helped us continue to provide the best in Catholic Education while keeping tuition and fees as low as possible.
